# Manually Add a Bank Account

> Learn how to manually add and configure bank accounts in AccAssistant

While AccAssistant offers bank integration through Plaid, you can also manually add bank accounts when automatic connection isn't available or preferred.

## When to Use Manual Addition

* International banks not supported by Plaid
* Cash accounts or petty cash
* Test environments
* Banks without integration support

## Adding a Bank Account

1. Navigate to **Bank Accounts** in the dashboard
2. Click **Add Account** → **Add Manually**
3. Enter account name and current balance
4. Click **Save**
